Our story
How CourtQuest started
CourtQuest started in July 2025 as a small group of students who wanted to run a better pickleball tournament than the one they'd just played in. What began as a single event grew into a registered nonprofit dedicated to organizing competitive, community-focused tournaments.
Two championships in, the mission hasn't changed: the money raised goes straight back into the neighborhoods that host us. Student volunteers organize, referee, and keep score, and the software that powers it all is built by students too.

CourtQuest is founded
A group of students decides to run a better tournament than the one they just played in.
August 2025
Rally Royale Championship
32 players at Worldgate Center. $1,200 raised for the Herndon Community Center.
November 2025
Registered 501(c)(3)
CourtQuest becomes an officially recognized nonprofit.
January 2026
Chill N' Dill
Our winter championship: 40 players, refereed brackets, and $1,600+ raised.
